Addressed the issue that when Argent Sentry Ultra Total Web Integrity Rule is broken Alert is fired only once and subsequent run wrongly reports that the Rule is not broken

This issue has been found in all Rules under ‘Total Web Integrity Rules’

Technical Background

An issue was reported when running the Argent Sentry Ultra Total Web Integrity Rule wrongly reports the Rule as not broken in the subsequent executions after it is reported as Broken

When a modification is made in the Website Root Path, the Rule is reported as Broken as shown below

But in subsequent run, it is reported as “Not Broken”

This issue occurred because the snapshots were updated automatically when changes are found

This issue has been addressed in Argent Advanced Technology 3.1A-1601-T2

The Rule will be broken if any modification is found in Website Root Path

If the modification is valid, the current snapshot must be updated manually using the option ‘Synchronize Backup And Snapshot’, to avoid future Alerts
