Summary

Argent for SQL Server has been enhanced with a new Rule category ‘Database Transaction Details Reporting Only Rules’ for the reporting of database transaction statistics

Technical Background

The ‘Database Transaction Details Reporting Only Rule’ saves the database transaction statistics like data transaction per second, data write per second, data read per second etc. to the database table named ‘ARGSOFT_SQ_DBT_STATICTICS’

Argent Reports can use this table for reporting

There is an option to save the transaction statistics of specific databases by specifying the database names in Include/Exclude fields

There is an option named ‘Days To Keep Old Data’, that deletes all records older than specified number of days
