Summary
Argent Advanced Technology has been introduced a new Rule category ‘Disabled Application Count Rules’ in Argent for XenApp
This Rule is under ‘XenApp Application Monitoring Rules’‘ that checks the count of applications published in XenApp 6.5 server that are currently in disabled state
Example:
‘Disabled Application Count Rules’ monitors all the published applications to check the count of disabled applications in XenApp servers
Rule ‘RULE_DISABLED_CNT_DEMO’ checks and saves the count of disabled application in XenApp server to Argent Predictor
Technical Background
A published application in Citrix XenApp will be available for users through Web Interface, Disabling an application in XenApp server, will prevent users from accessing that application
Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the count of applications those are disabled in XenApp server, to make sure all applications are available to users through Web Interface
This Rule checks and saves the count of disabled applications in XenApp 6.5 server to Argent Predictor
