Summary

When adding monitored process to Windows Process Rule, user can browse current processes running on a remote machine

When option ‘Use Monitoring Engine’ is used and the Monitoring Engine is a Daughter Engine, no Windows processes would be returned

The issue has been addressed in Argent Advanced Technology 5.1A-1901-C

Technical Background

The issue is caused by coding error

Daughter Engine receives the browsing request in a work order file

The incompatibility of WO format between Main Engine and Daughter Engine causes an exception error in Monitoring Engine process

As a result, empty process list is returned

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 5.1A-1901-C or above
