Summary

When searching for Active Directory users in the Security Manager, some customers experienced timeouts and the users list would never load

Technical Background

This is caused by a coding error — Argent Commander would end up in the branch that looks up local users instead

If a user was logged into Argent Commander with an account that does not have access to the local users and groups on the IIS server, the request would timeout

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Commander 3.1A-1307-A or above
