Alert is fired for each time a Job execution is failed
To handle this, Argent Job Scheduler provides an option in ‘Post Job’ to restart the Job ‘x’ times on failure, which only fire an Alert for a Job on continuous failure of ‘x’ times
This option must be set for all exit code conditions wherever a restart for the Job is needed
Along with the option ‘And Job Has Restarted ‘x’ Times’, it is required to specify how many times the Job should get restart
For example, if for exit code of Job Process is 5, and the Job need to be restarted 3 times, set the option as follows in J45 screen
To restart a Job for 5 times in 1 minute, set the option as follows
