Summary
Argent WorldView has been enhanced with the option ‘Edit Job Attributes Before Execution’ to edit the attributes of a Job in JW4 screen before it gets submitted
Technical Background
The menu option ‘Edit Job Attributes Before Execution’ in JW4 screen has been added to Argent WorldView
This option helps the user to edit a Job’s attribute before its execution from the JW4 screen
Other than Admin users, this option is only available for the users with Full-Access or Execute-Only rights
The feature would be available only to Job instances that are not yet submitted
Hence, the option ‘Edit Job Attributes Before Execution’ cannot be used against Jobs with statuses like Ended, Failed to Start, Abended, Canceled and Aborted
When the attributes of a Job are being edited, it temporarily falls into the status of ‘GUI Editing’
