Summary
Customers can now import old archived data from Argent Data Consolidator or Argent for Security into Argent for Compliance
The log summary reports will display data on the historical data
Customers start the tool by running ‘ARGSOFT_COMPLIANCE_MIGRATE /ARC’
Note: The tool only saves the Windows Security Log archive as raw data in the file system. It does not parse them for compliance data as the old archived data does not have all the insertion strings (USER DATA) saved.
If customers are only interested in the System and Application logs for reporting, customers can exclude the Security Log (typically, this will save a lot of migration time)
