Summary

When Jobs are submitted to the Argent Queue Engine from a custom VB.Net application using Argent API, it fails to display a Submit Error message for unsuccessful job submission

Technical Background

When Jobs are submitted to the Argent Queue Engine from a custom VB.Net application using Argent API, it fails to displays a Submit Error message for unsuccessful job submission. The Submit Error message is not being generated using the Argent VB Class Modules for versions 8.0A, the same way it does for the Argent VB Class Modules for versions 4.5A.

This issue has been addressed. A new method ‘SubmitJobValidateUser‘ has been added which will validate the user, and returns an error if the user is not valid
