Summary

To enable early detection and prevention of a corrupted CodeBase database the Argent Job Scheduler will automatically email mail to:ARB@Argent.com if it encounters lengthy DB checking.

Technical Background

In previous versions the automatic email relayed through the configured SMTP server.

This has now been modified so that the automatic email utilizes the Argent website to relay the e-mail.

If a Customer’s environment is locked down and the email can not be relayed, this option can be disabled via a registry setting.

Resolution

To disable the automatic early warning email modify the following registry setting:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Argent\SchedulingEngine\ DISABLE_AUTOEMAIL
