Summary

When integrating Argent with Remedy, an error occurs when clicking on the ‘Edit Remedy VB Script’ button stating

The Remedy VB scripts editor can only be run on Remedy server or clients.

Technical Background

This error is caused by the PATH on the system not containing the location of the Remedy Client files (commonly C:\ARsystem).

Resolution

Include the appropriate directory in the PATH system variable.
