Summary

When a Customer selects %EXIT_CODE_FILE% from the %Variable button in the Advanced options of a job template, the Argent Job Scheduler GUI freezes and subsequently crashes.

Technical Background

The %EXIT_CODE_FILE% option is under the %Variable button in the Environment Strings section of the Advanced screen of a job template.

When this particular option is selected in the Argent Job Scheduler GUI in version 7.0A-0701, the GUI freezes and crashes.

Resolution

This has been addressed in Argent Job Scheduler 7.0A-0701-T1. Upgrading to this or a newer release addresses the issue.
