Summary

Customers may experience that doing a connectivity or Relator test against a monitored VMware node in Argent for VMware is working but taking a long time (up to a few minutes) to finish.

Technical Background

This may be due to a known issue with the VMware PowerCLI tool in which it experiences a delay when launching on a server that does not have internet access. The issue is described in more detail in the following blog article on VMware’s site:

Resolution

The issue can be addressed by un-checking the option for ‘Check for publisher’s certificate revocation’ located in the Advanced tab under Internet Options in the Windows Control Panel.
