Summary

Argent for Compliance can monitor and archive audit events in Windows application log

Technical Background

Usually audit success and failure events show up in Windows security log

As a result, the old Argent XT can only monitor and archive such events in Windows security log

But recently SQL Server has started to generate audit events in Windows application log as well

In order to monitor and archive such events, Argent for Compliance should be used
