Summary

Microsoft has broken IE 10 and later preventing Argent Defender from recording a file download

Also Argent Defender cannot run the script recorded in earlier version dealing with file download either

Technical Background

IE 9 or earlier uses popup dialog box prompting user to download file

Argent Defender uses the published Windows Hook watching such a popup


However, IE 10 and later use the built-in popup bar within the IE window for such operations

This breaks the Argent Defender logic for both Script Recorder and Script Player
