Summary
Large Argent AT installation can generate huge volume of Argent Predictor data
It can be several thousand data points every few seconds
Customer can notice spotty data at the beginning
It can deteriorate until no data is saved
If Argent AT 3.1A-1404 or later is used, customer can see ‘ODBC error: SQL insert failed‘ in the service log
Technical Background
The issue is caused by stressed SQL Server
SQL update statement fails randomly due to the load
Resolution
The solution is to turn on SQL Bulk Insert
