A Private definition (Monitoring Object, Alert, Rule, Relator) is removed from the entire Argent Global Manager, if View Administrator deletes that from a View
Technical Background
A “Private” definition (Monitoring Object, Alert, Rule, Relator) is created by a user within a View or when the View Administrator add a definition to a View as Private
When View Administrator removes a Private definition from a View, it will be removed from entire Argent Global Manager since it was meant for that particular View only
Note:
A “Shared” definition is an existing definition that was either configured in the pre-View era in the GUI, or a “Private” definition from another View
“Shared” with another View, the Views simply have a pointer to this definition
It is NOT a separate copy
When View Administrator removes a Shared definition from a View, it will be removed from particular View only
