Summary
This article describes how to deal with drop-down box when building recorded session in the Argent Sentinel
Technical Background
Drop down box will show/ hide contents depends on “focus”
For example, a customer can expand a drop-down box by clicking it
Once customer clicks outside of the drop-down box, its contents will be hidden
This creates challenge to complete a recorded session using the ‘Click’ action
Resolution
1. Use the ‘Set Text Value’ action instead of ‘Click’ action
2. Choose ‘Simulate Keyboard Input’
3. Specify the first alphabet of the item name
4. Click button to confirm selection
