Summary

SQL Query Reports showing SQL connection error after disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1.

Technical Background

While testing SQL Query Reports, an error is occurring after disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on the targeted Server.

Below is a screenshot of error while testing SQL Query Reports after disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

In Argent Reports, SQL Query Tables and SQL Query Graphs allow customers to connect to their own ODBC-Compliant database tables and present data

Earlier, SQL Query in Argent Reports used only the default Microsoft SQL driver for SQL connections. The default Microsoft SQL driver won’t support SQL connections after disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

A different set of ODBC drivers is needed after disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 to establish a SQL connection for SQL Query in Argent Reports

Argent Reports now enhanced with more SQL Driver settings so that a proper SQL Connection is ready even when TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are disabled

Resolution
