KBI 310608 New Feature: Ignoring Disk Metrics Of Node-specific Logical Drives

Summary
Disk performance data can be ignored for node-specific logical drives
Technical Background
By ignoring some logical drives for a specific node, customers can continue to use generic disk performance Rules without creating Rules specific for the node.
For example, if a customer uses the generic ‘PRF_DISK_ALL_15‘ to check free space of Windows machines in the network.
Windows server ‘A‘ has very small drive ‘C‘, and customer does not want this to be alerted.
One way of doing it is to create a separate disk performance rule excluding drive ‘C‘ checking just Windows server ‘A‘.
A better way is to use the new feature excluding drive ‘C‘ for the machine
If there are multiple drives to exclude, separate drive letters with space.
For example, ‘C: E:‘ excludes drive ‘C‘ and ‘E‘
