Summary

Customer might see following lines in Mother Engine service log:

Cancel REL_XXXX for SERVER_XXXX — Relator in Test Mode

Further inspection shows the server is actually monitored by Daughter Engine

Mother Engine should never try to cancel tasks not under its control

As a matter of fact, the task cancelling has no effects on the actual task execution

The Daughter Engine will run the task as usual

The issue is corrected in Argent AT 3.1A-1404-T4

Technical Background

The issue generally indicates the communication issue between Daughter Engine and Mother Engine

Customer may see a huge accumulation of Work Order files under UPLOAD folder

If so, customer must address the underline root cause

Nevertheless, the misleading logging is addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1404-T4

Argent AT Engine will check if the task is under its control before trying to cancel the task

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1404-T4 or later
