Summary

Argent Defender Ultra allows customers to set “Alerts To Fire When Condition Is Corrected” on screen D3C

This way, customers can have an email automatically sent whenever an issue is no longer present

Additionally, Argent Defender Ultra will automatically mark Unanswered/Answered Events as ‘Resolved’ in the Argent Console when the condition is corrected

Technical Background

The Argent Console allows Events to be in three different states:

  • Unanswered
  • Answered
  • Resolved

After each script execution, Argent Defender Ultra checks to see if a prior Unanswered or Answered issue is no longer present

If so, all related Unanswered or Answered Events in the Argent Console are marked as ‘Resolved’, along with an automatic time-stamped Memo Note added to say “Answered by System” – this mimics the auto-resolve behavior in Argent AT
