Summary

The default path for The Argent Job Scheduler licence key is

\\ServerName\C$\Argent\SchedulingEngine\_Key

At a remote workstation when attempting to install the client GUI Administrator privileges to the c$ share is required.

Without this privilege the client installation will fail.

Technical Background

This issue only occurs in the installer Customer is not a Domain Administrator.

Resolution

As a workaround the default license path should be changed to utilize the existing Argent share name instead of C$.
