Summary

AT Relators Not Running On Windows Server 2012

Technical Background

Relators may fail to be executed and no Monitor_Engine logs or processes are launched even though the Argent AT services are running

Relator logs may show that the Monitor Engine process has failed due to unexpected condition

This issue will happen if .NET Framework 2.0 not installed

Argent requires that .NET Framework 2.0 be installed

Windows Server 2012 may have .NET Framework 4.5 installed without 2.0

Resolution

Use the checkbox option in the Add Features wizard of Windows Server Manager to install .NET Framework 3.5 (which includes 2.0)
