Summary

Customers might face issues reading Email Alerts from Argent Advanced Technology displaying query results, as they find the data in the email unformatted

Technical Background

This happens with Relators using Query Rules in Argent for Oracle and Argent for SQL Server where the query result is sent as Email Alert

On testing a Query Rule or a Relator that uses the Rule, the result is displayed well formatted

The issue happens only with Email Alerts

This is because, Email Alerts are sent as plain text and if the customer has set his Outlook to receive emails in HTML format, he may run into trouble reading the Alerts

This issue can be solved by changing the configuration in outlook using the following steps:

1. Open Tools->Options-> Mail Format->Set ‘Compose in this Message format
