Summary

Customer may report that the Argent Queue Engine is no longer accessible to the Argent Job Scheduler due to the following error message in the Argent Queue Engine service log:

*** CATASTROPHIC INTERNAL ERROR ***

Corrupted job slot table Called from line: 4,539 in XS_MAIN.CPP

The issue may be caused by a file lock on the :\ARGENT\QueueEngine\JOBSSLOT.BIN file. This may happen if the file is being scanned by virus or backup software.

Argent development is doing further investigation to determine the cause of the issue, and will update this KBI as additional information becomes available.

The issue was addressed after stopping and restarting the Argent Queue Engine service.
