Summary

Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is an encryption program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication for data communication

Jobs using PGP encryption software are failing within Argent Job Scheduler

This can be caused by the Windows account that submits jobs does not have a profile for the encryption software

Technical Background

Most encryption software programs have a profile containing the encryption keys for each account that are not shared

Resolution

Please ensure that all accounts that submit PGP jobs have a profile for encryption software

The account information for each job is located under Security tab in the Job Template
